Refund Policy

Cancellations & Dispute Resolution

We strive to provide the best virtual aviation experience. This policy outlines your rights regarding cancellations, refunds, and the specifics of digital goods under EU and International law.

Last Updated: December 11, 2025

01. General Principles

TiFlight provides immediate access to digital content (software, data, and virtual environments). Because of the nature of these digital goods, they cannot be "returned" once used.

As a general rule, all sales are final and non-refundable, except where explicitly required by applicable consumer law.

02. EU Right of Withdrawal

For customers in the European Union (EU), European Economic Area (EEA), and United Kingdom (UK):

Waiver of Withdrawal Right

By purchasing a TiFlight Subscription or Digital Item, you expressly request immediate performance of the contract (immediate access to Pro/Elite features).

YOU ACKNOWLEDGE THAT BY GAINING THIS IMMEDIATE ACCESS, YOU LOSE YOUR RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL (THE "14-DAY COOLING-OFF PERIOD") AS PERMITTED BY ARTICLE 16(m) OF THE CONSUMER RIGHTS DIRECTIVE 2011/83/EU.

03. Subscription Cancellations

How to Cancel

You can cancel your subscription at any time via your Dashboard > Settings > Billing. This stops the auto-renewal for the next cycle.

Access Continues

After cancellation, you will retain access to Pro/Elite features until the end of your current paid period. We do not provide pro-rated refunds for partial months.

04. Exceptional Refund Circumstances

While we have a strict no-refund policy, we review cases individually. You may be eligible for a refund if:

  • There was a billing error (e.g., double charge) confirmed by our payment processor.
  • You were unable to use the Service at all due to a verified technical fault on TiFlight's side (not the simulator side) that persisted for more than 72 hours, and support was unable to fix it.

* Note: "Forgot to cancel" is not considered a valid reason for a refund.

05. Non-Refundable Situations

We will NOT issue refunds for:

  • Simulator Issues: Crashes, bugs, or updates of Microsoft Flight Simulator or X-Plane that temporarily break plugin compatibility.
  • Virtual Item Usage: If you have used any "Teleport Credits", taken an "In-Game Loan", or purchased aircraft in the current billing cycle.
  • Bans: If your account was suspended for cheating, piracy, or Terms of Service violations.
  • Dissatisfaction: Subjective dissatisfaction with game mechanics (e.g., "I don't like the mission payouts").

06. Chargebacks & Disputes

Important Warning

If you initiate a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank without contacting our support first, we reserve the right to permanently ban your account and blacklist your payment details and IP address from future use of TiFlight services.

Please contact us first. We are reasonable people and will help solve genuine billing issues.

07. Requesting a Refund

To submit a request, please email us with your Transaction ID and account email. We aim to respond within 48 business hours.
